Our Tipi (2021 only)

Review by Louise
'Fantastic stay in the Wolf Tipi. We were the first guests and really enjoyed the lovely sheltered spot and amazingly equipped kitchen. Kay and Judith have thought of everything you could possibly need! The site in general is obviously a labour of love and we'd love to come back to see how it evolves.'
Our tipi (5metre) sits in a corner of the wild flower meadow. This year we have decided to take out the double bed and provide up to 4 or 5 blow up beds to enable a family to stay in the tipi as the pitch of the roof makes it difficult to have full sized beds. You will only need to bring sleeping bags and pillows. The living area will be furnished with cushions, throws and rugs to create a cosy inside space.
The tipi costs £55 a night to book for a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children. Bookings need to be for a minimum of 3 nights please.
The tipi has its own fire bowl for evening camp fires and a picnic table. A shelter will be set up as a kitchen tent with its own gas stove and all the kitchen equipment you will need.
We have plenty of firewood on site - the first large trug of wood is free and then a small charge of £3 will be made for further trugs. Waterless toilets are located nearby as well as 2 LPG gas shower pods.
As we are an environment friendly campsite campers are encouraged to recycle as much of their rubbish as possible using the bins provided and only use the biodegradable cleaning products, soap and shampoos which we will provide. As part of our green policy we are asking that all campers only bring one car/vehicle per bell tent. We have limited hard standing for parking. If this is a real problem please discuss with us but a charge of £5 a stay will be made for the second vehicle
Please arrive only after 4pm which gives us plenty of time to clean the kitchen tent as well as manage the grass areas
No dogs allowed in our glamping tents - sorry.
