Coronavirus (COVID 19) Update 13.07.2020
The Welsh Government have finally told us when we can open our campsite again - 25th July 2020. HURRAY!
We are limiting the number of pitches so that we won't be overcrowded and not putting up our 3 glamping tents at all. We have 10 acres so you will never feel crowded anyway but this will mean less wait for the showers and toilets. We have a wash up station for dishes (cold water unless you bring a warm kettle) and will put hand sanitising stations around the camp site. Each pitch will have its own fire bowl and we do normally lend out old pans and grills for the fire. If you keep them for your complete stay and then we can decontaminate them when you leave rather than just dropping them back in the wicker basket after use please.
We are also opening up our bottom field, never used for camping before for one pitch of wild camping with limited, self contained facilities.
We are doing everything we can to make your camp stay with us as normal as possible but keeping your safety in mind.
If you have a booking with us and are still thinking of postponing or cancelling your holiday please get in touch by email. We, of course, prefer it if you rebooked for next year rather than asking for a refund.
Our site is small, with an area of 10 acres. We are located in a large countryside setting away from centres of population. Our camp pitches are more than 6 metres apart - often very much more. But we will have to wait and see.
Please note that the Greener Camping Club membership fee is not refundable. However, if you accept a postponement to next year rather than a refund, the Club will provide complimentary membership for the 2021 season.
